Inter Rapids Links Ltd was registered in 2016 to supply and distribute general and industrial hardware and equipment, targeting both domestic and regional markets. For most of our history, that meant working directly with businesses and government agencies — not individual shoppers.
A foundation built on public procurement
Kenya’s government sets aside at least thirty percent of its procurement spend for goods, works, and services from micro and small enterprises owned by youth, women, and persons with disabilities. Inter Rapids Links is AGPO registered, and meeting that standard has shaped how we operate from the start: reliable sourcing, consistent quality, and delivery you can actually depend on. Those aren’t just words on a policy page for us — they’re the requirements we’ve been held to on every contract for nearly a decade.
Why we’re opening up to individual customers
The same sourcing relationships that let us supply businesses and government offices — genuine products, fair pricing, dependable delivery — apply just as well to a single household order. There was no good reason to keep that only available to institutional buyers, so we built this store to bring it directly to individual shoppers across Kenya.
What hasn’t changed
